The Land-0-Lakes Flying club is a non-profit organization and our rates are based on the true cost of flying and maintaining the aircraft. Fuel and maintenance costs are carefully tracked to reflect the current rates of the aircraft. See the "Rates" section for more details.
Insurance is non-subrogation. The deductible in motion and not in motion is $1,000.00 for the Archer II and $1,000.00 for the Dakota. Bodily Injury Liability is $100,000 each person and $1,000,000 Property Damage on each aircraft.
Our aircraft are fully equipped with communication and navigation equipment and are IFR-certified for instrument conditions. The club puts a priority on maintenance and all reported problems are addressed immediately. Also, the aircraft are always hangered and fueled.
The club allows you to take the aircraft for overnight, weekends and longer trips. We have a few restrictions in order to ensure fairness.
Being based at Oakland County International Airport we have services that are not usually available at uncontrolled facilities like small regional airports. The airport has multiple hard surfaced runways that are kept clear year-round that better accommodate various wind/weather conditions. Control tower operations with controllers expertly support both VFR and IFR operations. Emergency fire fighting and medical services are readily available should the need arise. Click here for more information about the airport.
Our club uses the AircraftClubs.com flight scheduling. This is an extremely good system that allows you to make reservations, modify them or cancel them using either a telephone or through the web.
